The H2O OPEN invites you to the first competition of the year 2010 the goal of the organizers remains the same: a day that runs without delay on the schedule, fun and long distances races to complete the endurance phase for the first month of training.
New for 2010:
• Reopening of the Quebec Dragon Boat League. This league is in place to compile the results of the various provincial competitions.
• Cumulation of points to determine the winning CLUB of the day
As in 2009, the H2o Open will be sanctioned by Dragon Boat Canada
• Mai 29th, 2010 at the Olympic basin
• 450.00$ (Mixed, Women et Men)
• Format : Mixed Rookie: 500m, 500m, 250m Mixed Community: 500m, 500m, 250m Mixted Sport: 1000m, 500m, 250m
Women Community: 1000m, 500m, 250m Women Sport: 1000m, 500m, 250m
Men Open: 1000m, 500m, 250m

Race format: Each team will race 3 times on different distances. The times of each races will be cummulate. The team wit the lowest cummulate time result will be the winner.
Sport, women and men division: 1 x 1000m, 1 x 500m, 1 x 250m (DRUMMER MANDATORY) Community and rookie division: 2 x 500m, 1 x 250m. (DRUMMER MANDATORY)
Rookie:
New teams or teams with only one year of experience Rookie teams will participate in 3 races during the day. (500m, 500m, 250m)
Community:
Intermediate mixed, women’s teams who don’t want to compete in the sport division. Mixed and women's community teams will participate in 3 races during the day.(500m, 500m, 250m)
Sport:
Mixed, women’s and men’s advanced. For 2010, we don't need the list of rowers registered with DBC DBC rules will be used. Rowers in this division will not have to wear their PFD. Mixed, men’s and women’s sport teams will participate in 3 races during the day. (1000m, 500m, 250m)

Primavera is the Caterer who will be around to service of food. Here's what he's going to be on the menu:
- Morning: Coffee, muffins and energy bar - Lunch: Wrap health (5$) and Europeans Home made Hot dogs & Choucroute (6$) - Beverages: Water, soft drinks, iced tea, Gatorade and juices - Cocktail energy Bartender
After race party:
Immediatly after the medal ceremony,on spot. Bring your own drinks.
