Racing format:

2 x 500m on Saturday (the best time out of two will determine the final your team will be in on sunday)

Sunday: 500m final in the morning and 250m final in the afternoon.

Schedule:

A draft version of the schedule is available now. The official schedule will be available on friday July 23rd.

Parking:

The Montreal dragon boat festival attracts close to 4000 paddlers... so parking is rare around here all week-end long! We highly recommend that you use public transport or to car pool.

Les 24 et 25 Juillet 2010 l’accès au bassin olympique se fera uniquement par LE PONT DE LA CONCORDE.

H2oplayground village:

Every year, the H2o teams all hang out in the same spot. This year the village will be installed on the north side of the bassin, besides the blue stands. Every team will be assigned a section to get organized and to regroup between races.

We will not be providing tents this year, so come with your chairs and umbrellas! We will provide two BBQ available to everyone!

Coaching:

We will do our best so that every team is coached by their regular coach but we might not be able to do so espacially on sunday. We will stil provide your team with an H2o coach oin case of a schedule conflict. Thanks for your understanding.

Drummer:

Every team must have their own drummer. We will not be providing drummers.

Line-ups:

Team's line-ups will be available on our website from monday. Please see "our teams" section.

Life jackets:

Every paddler in every team must wear a life jacket at all time on the water this week-end. Life jackets will be provided by the Montreal Festival. You can purchase a life jackets at www.missiondragonboat.com 

Bracelets:

The bracelets will be provided on saturday morning at the H2o village. We ask the capitains of every team to request the bracelets for their team. Please go see an H2o coach to get them.

H2o party (on sunday night):

CLASSIC!  A little after party festival is organized at Pub Quartier Latin 318 Ontario Est on sunday night from 8h30pm. Come and have a drink after your team dinner.  

Club picture:

We will take the traditional club picture on saturday at 12h just in front of the village. Be there!
